Sandalwood Amyris is the common name of the Amyris Balsamifera plant. The essential oil of the sandalwood comes through steam distillation and has an aroma of aged wood. It contains a large percentage of various oils such as walnut, cadinene and cadinol.
Sandalwood essential oil is used in aromatherapy for relaxation and meditation. It is believed to contribute to the fight against bronchitis, laryngitis, depression, stress. Sandaloxyl essential oil is very well combined with: Lavender, Citronella, Cedarwood.
